Welcome to Somerset Child Contact Centres. 

We are a charity registered with the Charity Commission. Our registration number is 1190163

We are a charity dedicated to child contact, by providing safe spaces where children can meet the parents they don’t live with.

We run eight centres providing supported contact in Bridgwater, Chard & Ilminster, Clevedon & Nailsea, Frome, Taunton, Yeovil, Weston-super-Mare and Wincanton

More than a million children have no contact whatsoever with one of their parents after separation. Unfortunately, some children experience behavioural issues including antisocial behaviour, distress, unhappiness, and both physical and emotional problems.

Each of our Centres is open on two Saturdays or Sundays a month for a two-hour session.

Bridgwater Child Contact Centre, Westfield Church, West Street, Bridgwater, TA6 7EU (1st & 3rd Saturdays each month 14:00-16:00)

Chard & Ilminster Child Contact Centre, Broadway Hill Methodist, Church, Pound Road, Horton, Ilminster, TA19 9QU (usually 2nd & 4th Saturdays each month 14:00-16:00)

Clevedon & Nailsea Child Contact Centre, Christchurch, Chapel Hill, Clevedon, BS21 7LL (2nd & 4th Saturdays each month, 10:00 - 12:00)

Frome Child Contact Centre, YMCA Frome Youth & Community Centre, Vallis Road, Frome, BA11 3EF (2nd & 4th Sundays each month, 10:30 – 12:30)

Taunton Child Contact Centre, United Reformed Church, Paul Street, Taunton, TA1 3PF (1st & 3rd Saturdays each month 10:00-12 :00)

Weston-super-Mare Child Contact Centre, Ashcombe Children’s Centre, Stepping Stone Walk, Earlham Grove, Weston-super-Mare, Somerset BS23 3NA (2nd & 4th Saturdays each month 14:00 – 16:00)

Wincanton Child Contact Centre, The Balsam Centre, Balsam Park, Wincanton, BA9 9HB (2nd & 4th Saturdays each month, 10:00 - 12:00)

Yeovil Child Contact Centre, Holy Trinity Church & Community Centre, Lysander Road, Yeovil, BA20 2BU (2nd & 4th Saturdays each month 14:00 - 16:00)

Our fees: a £60 set-up fee; thereafter each session costs £10.

We are a charity and these fees do not cover our costs. If you would like to make a donation to support our work, please get in touch. Thank you.

Please note we do not offer permanent contact arrangements. Our work is intended to enable families to move on to contact in the community after a period of time.
